Wayfaring Stranger

Wayfaring Stranger is nearly 150 years old, and there are a lot of versions. It’s a bittersweet song, hoping and  trusting in the sweet eternal state promised in Scripture, while admitting the bitter realities of this current sin-stained life.

I tried to select the most gospel-centered lyrics for the version I compiled.

Stylistically we are just shooting for acoustic/folk/Americana, not trying for a country music flavor.
