Podcasting a Service

Before the Service:

1. Login to the faith-higginsville.org blog website
2. Click +New Post from the top menu bar
3. Title it “Worship Service MM/DD/YYYY”
4. Click in the content box and hit a return
5. Enter the following lines after the return:
   • Preacher: theNameOfThePersonPreaching
   • Text: theTextsHeIsPreachingFrom
   • Theme: theThemeOfTheSermon

After the Service:

1. After you have saved the file in Reaper, go to File>Render…
2. File Name YYYY-MM-DD (you may not need to enter a filename, it may already be there)
3. Output Format>MP3 (encoder by LAME project)
4. Click Render 1 File…
5. After the file renders go back to the blog post
6. Click in the top of the content box
7. Click Add Media
8. Click the Upload Files tab
9. Click Select Files
10. It should already be nagivated to last weeks’s folder, so just move up one directory and select this week’s folder
11. You should see two files, select the one that you just saved (YYYY-MM-DD)
12. After it uploads, click the Copy URL to Clipboard button
13. Click Insert into Post
14. Now scroll down past the end of the post and paste the URL you just copied into the Media URL box and click Verify
15. Publish the blog post
