This page houses links to books, podcasts, videos and other media I have found helpful. Obviously I don’t endorse every part of every item, but these are resources that I overall have found a lot of value in:
Podcasting a Service
Before the Service:
- Login to the faith-higginsville.org blog website
- Click +New Post from the top menu bar
- Title it “Worship Service MM/DD/YYYY”
- Click in the content box and hit a return
- Enter the following lines after the return:
- Preacher: theNameOfThePersonPreaching
- Text: theTextsHeIsPreachingFrom
- Theme: theThemeOfTheSermon
After the Service:
- After you have saved the file in Reaper, go to File>Render…
- File Name YYYY-MM-DD (you may not need to enter a filename, it may already be there)
- Output Format>MP3 (encoder by LAME project)
- Click Render 1 File…
- After the file renders go back to the blog post
- Click in the top of the content box
- Click Add Media
- Click the Upload Files tab
- Click Select Files
- It should already be nagivated to last weeks’s folder, so just move up one directory and select this week’s folder
- You should see two files, select the one that you just saved (YYYY-MM-DD)
- After it uploads, click the Copy URL to Clipboard button
- Click Insert into Post
- Now scroll down past the end of the post and paste the URL you just copied into the Media URL box and click Verify
- Publish the blog post
